DiST Placements & Corporate Relations (DPCR) organized and conducted the college alumni association meeting ‘Nostalgia 2k22’ on Saturday, 14th of May 2022 in the college campus. Around 250 participants including alumni and staff members attended the meeting held at DiST Seminar Hall. Passed out batches of all schools were represented by alumni from various parts of the country. Before the meeting, elections for the new Alumni office bearers were conducted and new members were elected for the various designations. ‘Nostalgia 2k22’ also witnessed the recognition of semester toppers and batch toppers of various departments.

The alumni meet was ended with the networking lunch.
Amidst the pandemic situation, as it was not possible to conduct an alumni meet in the college campus, De Paul Institute of Science & Technology, Angamaly organized its alumni association global meeting on Saturday, 13th of March 2021 through its online platform - WebEx. There were 403 participants including alumni and staff members in the meeting. Passed out batches of all schools were represented by alumni from around the world.
The meeting started at 06.30 pm with a prayer by Asst. Prof. Denny P Francis followed by a welcome address by Asst. Prof. Raju Warrier (Co-ordinator, DiST Alumni Global Meet, 2021). Fr. George Pottayil VC, (Director, DiST) and Prof. Dr. Unny C J (Principal, DiST) delivered the inaugural address and Principal’s message respectively. The meeting was presided by Mr. Vinu K John (President, Alumni Association 2019-21). Assoc. Prof. Joseph Paul (Co-ordinator, DiST Placement Cell) introduced the new office bearers of DIST Alumni Association, 2021-22. Mr. Jithu George (President, Alumni Association 2021-22) felicitated the gathering.
The college was fortunate enough that Sri. Roji M John (MLA) could also join the gathering and convey a message. Asst. Prof. Raju Warrier announced the exceptional accomplishments of DiST alumni. This was followed by experience sharing and cultural activities of alumni from all the schools.
The Principal intimated about the importance of the association and the assistance of all the alumni in future placements and other activities. He also put forward the idea of an “Alumni and Student Medical Aid Fund” formulation. The alumni and staff had fruitful discussion regarding the administration and future activities of DiST Alumni Association 2021-22. By 9.15 pm, Ms. Reshma V M (Joint-Secretary, Alumni Association 2019-21) delivered the vote of thanks which culminated an unprecedented and fruitful alumni global meet.
